Frequently asked questions

Practical answers about remote support, what happens on site and how to get started.

What can you manage remotely?

Remote support can cover maintenance planning, compliance tracking, contractor coordination, record reviews and progress reporting. Scott helps turn site information into priorities, named actions and follow-up. Physical inspections, testing and repairs still need appropriate people on site.

Do I need an existing maintenance team?

You do not need a full in-house maintenance department. Support can work alongside your site manager, nominated staff and external contractors. An on-site contact is needed to provide accurate updates, arrange access and help put agreed actions into practice.

Can you help with overdue compliance checks and corrective actions?

Yes. Scott can review your records, identify outstanding items and help organise a prioritised action plan with owners, deadlines and completion evidence. Where specialist assessment, testing or certification is needed, that work must be carried out by an appropriately qualified provider.

Can you coordinate our contractors?

Yes, within the agreed scope. Support can include clarifying work requirements, reviewing quotations, arranging progress updates and checking completion evidence. Spending approvals, site access and responsibility for accepting work are agreed at the start.

Do you offer one-off advice and ongoing support?

Both options are available. You can discuss a specific issue, commission a focused review or arrange ongoing remote oversight. The scope and frequency of support are agreed around your site’s needs.

How are fees agreed?

Fees depend on the number of sites, the work involved and the level of support required. Contact Scott with a brief outline of your needs so the scope, deliverables and fees can be agreed before work starts.

Does remote support include site visits or emergency cover?

Site visits and emergency attendance are not included automatically in remote support. Any requirement for on-site input, availability or response times must be agreed separately. Urgent incidents should follow your existing local emergency and escalation arrangements.

What information should I have ready?

A short description of your site, your main concerns and the support you need is enough for an initial conversation. Useful follow-up information may include maintenance backlogs, servicing schedules, audit actions and contractor details. Avoid including personal or sensitive records in your initial enquiry.

How do I arrange an initial consultation?

Use the consultation form or email info@worrallfacilities.co.uk with your organisation, the type of site and a brief description of the issue. The form prepares a message in your email app, where you review it and press Send. Appointment details and next steps are agreed directly with Scott.
